Stance: Has an open batting stance, with his front leg fairly straight and his back leg bent. Keeps his hands head high and close to his body, with his arms also held close. Strides into a closed stance, and uses a toe turn trigger.

Approach: Fairly aggressive hitter, who will work counts and drag out at-bats. Has good plate discipline and strike zone awareness. Great pitch recognition, and capable of hitting any pitch in any location. Likes the ball down in the zone, either inside or away.

Hitting Ability: Has a line drive swing, and hits the ball on the ground well but isn’t a slap hitter. Hits to all fields very well. Does not give away at-bats, and is always looking to get on-base anyway he can. Struggles against lefties but hits them well enough to avoid a platoon situation. Strikes out a decent amount, but also draws a solid amount of walks, typically a 2:1 strikeouts to walk ratio guy.

Power: Average power, mainly to the pull field. Has the ability to go deep in any park, but is not a major power threat. Should hit between 7-10 homeruns annually. Has more gap power than homerun power, but is mainly a singles hitter.

Running: Has above average speed that doesn’t play as well as it should on the base paths because he struggles to get good reads and jumps off of pitchers. Capable of getting 15-20 steals per year, he struggles getting thrown out and will get caught more than a handful of times every year. Very aggressive on the bases, and is not afraid of getting caught. Shows great speed and quickness, along with incredible hustle.

Fielding: Gold Glove defender. Has incredible arm strength and accuracy, with the ability to throw the ball at shoulder level the entire distance of his throws, making them easy to cut off. Fantastic arm. Has terrific range in the outfield, utilizing his speed and quickness. Capable of playing all three outfield positions.

Physical Description: Real athletic and muscular build. Has very powerful legs, with great muscle definition and weight distribution. Muscular upper body, especially his back. No need to add or subtract weight, and is in no danger of adding bad weight.

Projection: Strong all around player, who is a Gold Glove defender. Shows speed on the base paths and the ability to hit for a solid average. Doesn’t have any eye popping offensive tools, but is an elite defender who is more than capable with the bat. Should be a starter on most teams, and can hit at the top of the lineup. Worst case scenario an elite fourth outfielder or platoon outfielder.
