Fastball: 40

Changeup: 45

Command/Control: 35

Slider: 35

Curveball: NA

Delivery: 55

Pitch #1: Fastball, low to mid-80’s velocity.  Real flat pitch with sweeping moving due to his arm angle.  Needs to hit the corners and control it real well for it to be effective.

Pitch #2: Slider, low to mid-70’s velocity.  Has a lot of sweeping movement to it.  Real tough to command and has a hard time throwing it for consistent strikes.  Will rarely throw it to right-handed batters because it normally ends up in the right-handed batters box.

Pitch #3: Changeup, mid 70’s velocity.  Has decent downward movement.  Strikeout pitch that he likes to throw down in the zone.  Struggles to keep it away from the middle of the plate.  Has the best command of the changeup over any other pitch.

Delivery: Stands on first base side of the rubber.   Pitches from the stretch.  Strides towards home plate with his lead foot then swings his back foot around, causing him to fall way off towards first base.  Slight knee lift to about waist level.  Very difficult to repeat delivery.  Fairly quick to the plate, difficult to run on because of his odd delivery and quickness.

Control: Has a tough time against right-handers because he struggles to get the ball inside on them.  Real tough on lefties because of his stance on the rubber and his side arm delivery.  Leaves the ball out over the plate far too often, and doesn’t consistently get the ball down in the zone.  Tries to pitch east-west but struggles to hit the corners of the plate.

Poise: Struggles to maintain composure on the mound and often lets innings get away from him after one or two hits or mistakes.  Has a tough time putting a stop to things when the opposition gets on a role. Begs for calls from umpires some times.

Physical Description: Not physically intimidating, needs to add weight throughout his body.  Has solid muscle distribution with broad shoulders that could handle additional weight.

Projection: Strictly a left specialist at this point as he gets dominated by right-handed hitters.  An up and down player that will constantly struggle to stay on a 40-man roster.  Relies heavily on his deception and arm angle because his stuff isn’t overpowering and he doesn’t control it well.
